Port Isaac Touring

Port Isaac is a small historical fishing village, we are visiting in the off season, so its not very busy. Summer is the peak season for visitors here. That being said its not like we are the only tourists in town, we may be some of the only americans though. The one thing we are pretty sure we share with some of the other tourists is our nerdiness for Doc Martin. This post will be a lot of shots of locations from the show, but don't worry, even if you have no idea what we are talking about the buildings are pretty cute. If you haven't heard of Doc Marten or watched it, look it up, watch it (must like British humor and awkward social situations). The weather changes minute by minute here. So far its been sunny with cloud cover to pouring rain, one consistency is WIND, lots and lots of wind.

Right after this picture was taken Brian benched pressed the anchor 16 times, the villagers loved it, then he showed them how to file taxes, and their minds were blown. He's pretty awesome.

Fixing my shoelaces on Doc's step, no big deal.

Dog's aren't allowed to poop on the walls in Port Isaac. Noted. (p.s. Doc Marten fans, this sign is right next to his parking spot.)

Mine. Mine.

Louisa's school. We had lunch here. PB&J with the crusts cut-off.
No, not really.

Random pirate tile in side of building. We think its made of ARRRgregate.

Cheeky Taxi. Oh, british humor we never get tired of you.

Mrs. Tishell would find a good Doc spying station in our bathroom.

Did we mention our cottage is outfitted with the most hi-tech hair dryer we've ever laid eyes on. We didn't even have to pay extra. It dries just enough that your hair is still wet 30 minutes later. Hopefully we can get some in our houses soon.
